James Richard Michie 19 July 2011 What's your favorite color? Red. What's your favorite food? A Hire's hamburger. What's your favorite book? The Wall Street Journal has become a favorite book. Who are your favorite characters in history? Reagan, Ronald Reagan. And George Washington What is your favorite virtue? Eating? A virtue? My goodness. I think obedience. If you don't have a structure in your life and following certain rules, you don't get anywhere. Okay, what quality do you most admire in a man? I think actually love, I guess. If you don't have that, you don't have much. What quality do you most admire in a woman? Obviously motherhood, genuineness. I think it has to do with those tender qualities and realness. I don't like dumb blondes. You know, the frivolous type, the big boobs don't do it for me. They better have something going on up here and some real talent, you know, talent of brains. I've never been attracted to the dummies. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? I forgive people for shyness when it's part of their makeup. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? Hedge Fund manager. What profession would you not like to do? I would not be a doctor. Because I don't like back-to-back appointments. As a bishop in a large ward we were interviewing all the time, and Sundays were packed. If you got behind 10 minutes when you had three or four people sitting out there, I just didn't like that at all. The same was true on our mission, interviewing all those missionaries every six weeks. If someone was really in some difficulty, but you had three or four people out waiting for you, you were torn up, and that's the way medicine is. I would not want that. I control my day, that's lack of control there!
Nanette Smith Michie 19 July 2011 What’s your favorite color? Red. What’s your favorite food? Pizza. What’s your favorite book? It’s really hard to think of the best one, but I think Great Expectations. Who are your favorite characters in history? There’s so many. How about John and Abigail.Adams? What is your favorite virtue? Loyalty. What quality do you most admire in a man? I like someone who is strong and stable. What quality do you most admire in a woman? I don’t know how to say it in simple terms, but a good friend who I could count on under any circumstance. I don’t know that I can get that into a word - loyalty? A confidante? Someone I know I can tell all kinds of stuff and she just would listen and forget. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? Insecurity. I feel sorry for people who are insecure to the point that they can’t see the good in themselves. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? Well, if I got to be young again and had a start, because this is a thing that would have to be developed over time, I would have loved to be a toe dancer. Ballet. When I see a ballerina, I’m going like this in my chair, almost leaping. You know, I don’t think my body would have done it. I mean, I never looked like a ballerina. I had too many curves. I’m not a skinny woman. But if I really had my way, I’d love that. It’s so expressive. And I get to hear beautiful music when I’m doing it... Can I cancel my ballerina wish? I’d have wanted to be a doctor. I loved to study about the body. I don’t know what I’d like to specialize in but I like triage. I love to figure out by hearing people’s symptoms what they may have, sort of like a medical Sherlock Holmes. When we were on our mission they sent me a new American Medical Association book every year because I had to do triage for missionaries. I’d decide whether they needed to come home, or whether or not they needed to see the doctor. By having them tell me how they felt I could go through the book and check their symptoms against possible causes. It was fascinating. When I was young, I wanted to be a nurse. My family doctor said to me, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I said, “I want to be a nurse,” and he said, “No, you don’t.” I said, “Why?” and he said, “All nurses do is pick up the doctor’s bedpan,” which was pretty true back then. Girls couldn’t be doctors when I was young. A girl in medical school was unheard of. That’s sort of different from being a ballerina, isn’t it? What profession would you not like to do? What would I not like to do? I don’t think I’d like to be a dentist. It’s the sameness of it all the time. At least with a doctor, people come in with different kinds of problems. There’s another thing. I’m a verbal person. I like to get to know people and yakkity-yak, and if you’ve got some guy with his mouth open and ask him a question, what are they going to say?
Michelle Michie July 28, 2011 What is your favorite color? I like bright colors. Maybe pink. What's your favorite food? Pub food, such as at Porcupine Grill or Red Rock Brewery. What's your favorite book? I like historical novels. There was one called Dancing with Kings about Louis XV and Versailles and all that stuff. I like these king history books. What is your favorite virtue? I think tolerance of all people. I have a friend who's that way, and I wish I could be that way. Non-judgmental, tolerant of everyone. What quality do you most admire in a man? Honesty. What quality do you most admire in a woman? Independence. Who are your favorite characters in history. The kings and the queens. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? I would be a rock star. Or a singer. A country-western singer. What profession would you not like to do? I would not like to be a preacher. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? Um, food. Food!
BOB STRINGHAM July 28, 2011 What is your favorite color? Blue or green, either one, kind of a bluish green, either one of those would pass. What's your favorite food? Ooh, that's a hard one. I really like a lot of different foods. And I love almost any kind of ethnic food. So, my favorite... Most times when I'm celebrating a birthday or something with my kids, we usually go for Indian food. What is your favorite book? The Endurance. Shackleton's Great Adventure. My favorite genre of books are Victorian-age explorers or any type of exploration… Source of the Nile. That is a very good book, too. That's right up there, that's definitely in my top five. So, yeah, Sir Richard Burton, Shackleton, yeah, that's my favorite book. What is your favorite virtue? Do you have a multiple choice on this? It's probably honesty. What quality do you most admire in a man? I don't know. I'm thinking of my father. The qualities that he had that I admire the most were his strength and his work ethic. Being strong and hard working. What quality do you most admire in a woman? I think of my mom, and in some ways it's the same. What do I admire most? When you add the women in there, it is the strength and capacity for working hard , but then there's that compassion. So I would say both. In my mom and Michelle and the women that I admire, they have strength, they're hard working, but they still have more compassion, I think, than guys do in general. Who are your favorite characters in history? I think my favorite characters are the explorers, those who were willing to go out into the unknown and just see what they could find. The explorers, whether Columbus, Magellan, Shackleton, Richard Burton, Lewis and Clark. I think any of the explorers who were willing to literally risk it all to go out and see what's out there. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? I think I would have had fun being a doctor. My daughter's in medical school right now and I'm actually quite jealous. I think it would be fun being an emergency room doctor like she's thinking of being. What profession would you not like to do? Um, [laughs] I don't think I would enjoy being a sportscaster. [Laughs] I don't really enjoy watching sports. I'd rather be doing something. Watching sports just doesn't do much for me, so being a sportscaster would drive me crazy. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? I enjoy my own indulgence in food. But the thing that I'm most willing to overlook in others... I think everybody should work out and exercise. On the other hand, I know it's not going to happen for everybody. I encourage it, even with my employees. I give them a workout bonus if they work out three times a week. I give them 25 bucks in their paycheck, as an extra, so they can get a gym membership or get some new running shoes or whatever they want to do. But on the other hand, if they don't take advantage of it, they don't, and I can overlook that.
McKENZIE BUCHAN September 1, 2011 What's your favorite color? Blue. What's your favorite food? Pizza. Pepperoni. What's your favorite book? That's a hard one. I don't know, I really don't know. I like too many. The last one I read was the Tina Fey book Bossypants What is your favorite virtue? Honesty. What quality do you most admire in a man? I'm going to switch my favorite virtue -- Is humor a virtue? A sense of humor? I would say that's my favorite virtue. And in a man I would say honesty is the quality I admire. What quality do you most admire in a woman? Strength. Who are your favorite characters in history? History. I don't know, history is my absolute worst subject. Louis XIV was pretty crazy… but I don't know. I don't have a favorite. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? I think my dream job would be to travel around, like the Anthony Bourdain show, and try and write a travel blog or a food and travel blog show. That would be fun. What profession would you not like to do? Politics. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? To what faults? Eating. Over-eating.
TREVOR MICHAEL BUCHAN July 28, 2011 What's your favorite color? Blue. What's your favorite food? Sushi. What's your favorite book? Hmm, The Lone Survivor. It's by an ex-Navy seal. It's a story about his going into Iraq and he was on his own. I have so many though, I read quite a bit. That's probably my favorite book. What is your favorite virtue. Could you say forgiveness is one? What quality do you most admire in a man? Where you say something and you do it. Your word is your bond. What quality do you most admire in a woman? Their ability to nurture. Who are your favorite characters in history? Chris Farley. I'm a big Ronald Reagan fan. Teddy Roosevelt, I really like Roosevelt a lot, probably more than Reagan. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? I'd like to own my own drug rehab program. What profession would you not like to do? More than any, I would not want to work in the restaurant industry. I have no desire to work in the restaurant industry. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? That's a tough one to answer for me. I run about three red lights a day.
Nicholas James Buchan July 28, 2011 What's your favorite color? Blue. What's your favorite food? Any kind of Mexican food, or steak and potatoes. What's your favorite book? The Lost Symbol, by Dan Brown. What is your favorite virtue? I'd say knowledge. To have or possess knowledge. Or, hard work. A good worth ethic. What quality do you most admire in a man? The way he would love his wife. What quality do you most admire in a woman? Honesty. Who are your favorite characters in history? Christ. Napoleon. What profession would you most like to attempt? A stockbroker or investment banking, that's something I would like to do. What profession would you not like to do? Brain surgeon To what faults do you feel most indulgent? I can't say dishonesty. I don't know.
ALI STRINGHAM July 29, 2011 What's your favorite color? Purple. What's your favorite food? Tasty food! Growing up in the Southwest, I've definitely got a soft spot for Mexican food and anything you can put guacamole on. What's your favorite book? I really enjoy reading; both my brother and I are prolific readers. I think The Thorn Birds. That's probably one of the favorite books I've read more recently. In high school I probably would have told you One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, so there seems to be a bird theme going on here. What is your favorite virtue? The ability to apologize. We all do good things and rise to the occasion, but we also fail on occasion or do things we're not so proud of. I think it takes a big person to be able to own up to their mistakes and try to make it right by the people who have been affected. It's crazy to think that anyone will ever be perfect, or to expect perfection of yourself or of others, so you have to be able to deal with it as the situations arise. What quality do you most admire in a man? Good question. The ability to kind of take things in stride with good humor. What quality do you most admire in a woman? I would say the same thing. When I think about friends who are the important people in my life, both men and women, the ones who really stand out are those who, if life throws something crazy at them, just deal with it and crack a joke and keep going. Who are your favorite characters in history? I've always enjoyed the writings of Edward Abbey. Actually, he was kind of a nutcase. He used to live down in the Utah deserts. While there's the crazy him living in a trailer in Southern Utah, there’s also the him with a really great appreciation for the Southern Utah wilderness and the desert. There's so many people who just look at the desert and think, this is barren landscape. A lot of people don't see the beauty in it. So I think I've always really enjoyed his writings, his exploration of the beauty of nature and why it's so important for all of us to have those places. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? If for some reason I wasn't able to be a doctor, I'd probably be a teacher. I really enjoyed the teaching I've done so far. I taught some in college and then I taught MCAT prep courses for Kaplan during my year off between college and med school. I would probably go back and be a high school science teacher if medicine didn't work out. What profession would you not like to do? Where do I begin? Anything that would cut me off from people. I like people and interacting with people, so anything that would have me staring at a computer and not interacting with people in any sort of meaningful way would drive me crazy pretty fast. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? That's a long list. Food is definitely my big weakness, especially when I'm studying. It's a very easy go-to, when I'm stressed and studying and feel like I don't have a lot of time. So that's probably the big one. Also, I think I definitely err on the side of being too proud, which I think is why I really admire people who can apologize and admit that they're wrong. I admire the people who really take that to heart and apologize.
IAN STRINGHAM September 1, 2011 What is your favorite color? Green. What is your favorite food? I like steak. A good steak is hard to pass up. What is your favorite book? The Sun Also Rises, by Earnest Hemingway, that's my favorite book. It's just really good. It’s the first novel Hemingway wrote. A lot of people don't like how he portrays women. Normally they're not very dimensional in his books. The protagonist is kind of like himself and then everyone else is just a caricature. What is your favorite virtue? That's less commonly-asked. Probably tolerance. What quality do you most admire in a man? A sense of purpose, of knowing whatever it is they're doing or want to do. They have knowledge and goals and determination. What quality do you most admire in a woman? Probably the same. Equal opportunity. Who are your favorite characters in history? It would be William Blake, he seems pretty cool. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? I'd say any profession, because I can't say I have a profession at the moment! But attempting a profession sounds pretty exciting right now. What profession would you not like to do? Deep sea trolling. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? I can be pretty lazy at times. If it's something I'm good at or I want to do, no problem, I'll get going. But sometimes if I'm doing something I don't want to do, I can be pretty laid back…
TRENT MICHIE August 23, 2011 What is your favorite color? Blue. What is your favorite food? I'd have to go with cheese fries. Not unagi frozen on a stick? No, definitely not. Unagi, by the way, is eel, which I got sick on in Japan, and still can't have. What is your favorite book? I don't know that I have a clear favorite. I'm not a big reader, which I regret. I should spend more time reading than I do. But I just read a book that I loved about the Navy Seals in Afghanistan, The Lone Survivor. It was great. I like that book. I like reading about the founding fathers, Adams and Franklin and Jefferson and those guys. Gosh, I don't know that I have a favorite, though. What is your favorite virtue? Loyalty. What quality do you most admire in a man? I think the ability to not take yourself so seriously, to laugh at yourself. What quality do you most admire in a woman? That's hard. Maybe confidence. That surprised you. Why? It surprised you when you said it. I don't know if I've ever thought about it before. But I admire women who do things and feel like they can do things. Who are your favorite characters in history? Like I said, I enjoy reading about the founding of our country. I think Franklin was a character, and I like reading about him. He was kind of a scalawag, but he was a brilliant guy. I like how they all came from such diverse backgrounds, and they made it work somehow. So I would say my favorite characters would be the founding fathers. I think Adams was a romantic guy, maybe not what you'd call romantic in today's terms, but he was very fiercely loyal to his spouse. They had a love affair going through their whole life. Then there was Franklin who was out partying in France, and Jefferson who owned slaves. But they all came together and said, "You know, we can agree and let's make it work." It's cool to read about how they all puzzled together. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? Programming for computers. When I started college my major was computer science. In my first real computer science class up at the Merrill Engineering Building, the guy who was teaching the class came out on roller skates and proceeded to talk over my head for the whole hour. That's when I knew I needed to change majors! But it's always intrigued me. I tell people, even today, "If I won the lottery, I would go take some programming classes." What profession would you not like to do? I couldn't do medicine. I couldn't do it. I've passed out now twice giving blood. So I couldn't do it, I'll stay away from that. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? Wow! I don't know. One indulgence, to the extent that you don't become lazy, is that I think it's important to relax. Sometimes I'll see the kids watching TV, and Liz will be like, "Turn that thing off!" and sometimes I think "Oh, just let them." It's important to relax, I think. But at the same time it's important to not be lazy, so to the extent that you can squeak in some of that indulgent, just-do-nothing time, and I don't know whether that's a fault. Because I don't like laziness, I don't like that.
LIZ MICHIE August 5, 2011 What's your favorite color? My favorite color to decorate with is blue, and my favorite color to wear is blue, but a lot of times I say my favorite color is purple, just because my favorite color to see is purple. But really, I guess it's blue, since that's really what I am drawn to. Thomas sees you as the color purple. Oh, does he? That's interesting. What is your favorite food. Chocolate. Any kind of chocolate. What is your favorite book? The Secret Life of Bees. What is your favorite virtue? Just right off the cuff, I would say loyalty. What quality do you most admire in a man? Probably back to my loyalty comment. What quality do you most admire in a woman? The same. Who are your favorite characters in history? Maria Theresa, Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela. That would be my first list. Oh, Queen Elizabeth I. Not so crazy about the Second. She's all right, but she wouldn't make the list. What profession, other than your own, the law, would you like to attempt? Teaching would be a great profession that I would like to attempt. What profession would you not like to do? Oh, anything medical. People should just keep their body fluids to themselves. No. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? Gluttony! Oh, absolutely.
GABRIELLE MICHIE August 5, 2011 What is your favorite color? Purple. What's your favorite food? Chocolate. What's your favorite book? I have a lot of favorite books. Fablehaven and the Harry Potter series, and Kiki Strike, and Goose Girl are my favorite books. What is your favorite virtue? Accountability. What quality do you most admire in a man? Nice. What quality do you most admire in a woman? Modesty. Who are your favorite characters in history? Amelia Earhart, and Harriet Tubman. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a performer. But a more reasonable thing, would be either a vet or a lawyer. My whole family's been lawyers. Not my dad, he's a building dude. But my uncle is a judge. My grandpa on my mom's side was a lawyer, and my mom was a lawyer, and some of my uncles have been lawyers. What profession, other than the ones that you just mentioned, would you like to attempt? GABRIELLE: Become an artist. What profession would you not like to do? I really don't want to work at McDonald's. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? Mistakes that are accidental, just screwing up.
THOMAS MICHIE August 8, 2011 What's your favorite color? I have a lot of them. Maybe red. What's your favorite food? I like ribs. What's your favorite book? I like sports books. The one that I've read lately is called The Best 50 about the 50 best baseball players. What is your favorite virtue? Being nice to people. What quality do you most admire in a man? I don't know. What quality do you most admire in a woman, or in a girl? I don't know. Let's change the focus a little bit. What do you like most about your dad? I like that he helps people with things. What do you like most about your mom? She's nice. She takes us places and she cooks for us. Who are your favorite characters in history? I like a lot of sports people. I used to like Brett Favre and Deron Williams. And I like John Stockton and Karl Malone. Michael Jordan. What kind of profession would you like to attempt? I don't know. I don't really know. What profession or career or job would you not like to do. Dancing. To what faults are you most indulgent? If someone slips and falls on me.
MELISSA MICHIE August 12 and September 2, 2011 What is your favorite color? Green. Any color, any shade of green. What is your favorite food? That's a hard one! I enjoy so much—what is my favorite food? It's changed over the years. But I would say sushi is my favorite. But also hamburgers, cheeseburgers from Hires Hamburgers. Every time I fly into Salt Lake City to visit I make my parents take me to Hires. I've been going there since I was in junior high. What is your favorite book? I don't have just one answer, but anything written by Jane Austen. Love her! I can read her books over and over, and still get the same enjoyment out of it every time. And, this is because I've read it recently, Where the Red Fern Grows. I read that to my son Ian when he was 10. I have read to him every night our whole lives, but now that he's my man child, I don't get to read to him anymore. Anyway, that was one of the last books we read, and it's all about loyalty and friendship, and it's such a beautiful story. I was reading it to him about 2 years ago, 2-1/2 years ago, and it just uncorked emotion in me that I didn't know I had. It had such an impact on me, reading that book as an adult. There is a reason it's a classic. It's such a beautiful, heart-wrenching, wholesome story about loss and loyalty and friendship. Oh, read it. In your adult life you must read it! What is your favorite virtue? Hmm. I wish I had a list, a menu of virtues. My favorite? Loyalty. What quality do you most admire in a man? In a man? Confidence. What quality do you most admire in a woman? Confidence! Who are your favorite characters in history? I'm trying to conjure up a woman 'cause I want to stand up for us! Okay, I am going to go with Rosa Parks, because my favorite characters in history are always the ones who say no to the status quo, and become a catalyst for change or who get people thinking. Anyway, Rosa Parks, I love her. And this will be a little controversial, but I love just a little Utah history. My favorite Utah history character is Sonja Johnson. I don't remember how old I was but I remember thinking, "Oh, she's just a rebel and she's out of control and she's this awful person, shaking stuff up. She needs to behave and toe the line and go with the party line." Then, when I went to college I minored in religious studies, and my senior year I did an independent project. I would go into the stacks at U Mass and just pull stuff, and I ended up reading Sonia Johnson's book, From Housewife to Heretic. I read her book, and she didn't sound so crazy. You know what I mean? She was a very educated, thoughtful person. Maybe her antics were a little over the top, but she made a point, and she was sticking up for women and questioning the status quo. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? I would be a diva. I would be Celine Dion. Yes, I would love to be able to command an audience. And if I couldn't be a diva I would be an ice skater. As a girl I would watch ice skaters. We used to go on vacations to Sun Valley and we would ride our bikes to the ice rink and watch all the Olympians. They would come and do ice shows in Sun Valley, and I would watch those women and I just wanted to do that so badly. I never did do ice skating, oddly, but it's so beautiful, it's stunning, it's amazing athletically and artistically. To this day I do not miss the winter Olympics. I do not miss a second of the ice skating. So I would either be a diva or an Olympic champion ice skater. What profession would you not like to do? I would not, could not be a medical person, because I can't stand needles and veins and blood. I could not be a phlebotomist! To what faults do you feel most indulgent? Impatience. Hands down. I'm way too quick to become impatient.
RICHARD HARRIS August 13, 2011 What is your favorite color? Blue. The blue that makes my eyes look good. My eyes are blue-green, they can turn green, too, but I like it best when people say, "Wow, your eyes look blue against that shirt." What's your favorite food? Sushi. When I'm alone and I have a choice, Japanese food is the perfect mix of fresh, healthy, lean and delicious. If I had to eat only one food ever again, it would be Japanese sushi food. Not tempura. What is your favorite book? I'm going to give you three. A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens was one of the first books I read after high school and in it I saw the beauty of literature and I remember it stirring my soul. Wally Lamb's She's Come Undone, the story of a young woman who comes into her own and is inhibited and shy and is in a box, and comes out and asserts her personality onto the world. Sort of an outing story and I didn't know why I loved that book so much. The third book is going to be heretical, so watch out. A very current book, and I really like it, called The End of Faith, Sam Harris. He doesn't attack religion. This is not an attack on God or religion. He attacks crazy belief systems that are often associated with religions that cause people to hurt other people. The Holocaust, was caused by a crazy belief system. Any religion that teaches that terrorist acts and murder are appropriate. The Inquisition in which the Catholic Church used religion as a way to inflict unjust dominion. So it's a very, very interesting book about our belief systems and it analyzes what we humans are capable of by believing something that it turns out to be completely false. … The End of Faith: Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason, by Sam Harris. What is your favorite virtue? Patience. What quality do you most admire in a man? Loyalty. What quality do you most admire in a woman? I would venture to say loyalty, but I'm really thinking of the woman who stands up for her rights, for being heard. So authenticity? Strength and authenticity. Who are your favorite characters in history? Gandhi. This sounds so trite but Gandhi, Mother Theresa, and my Grandfather Robbins. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt? A concert promoter. If I had started really early and if I had the talent, I would have been a rock star— like everybody else! But I think I'm a good performer. I think I could have pulled it off. I have a little bit of a bad boy side. What profession would you not like to be? Oh, attorney! Absolutely not an attorney. I have to read all the legal documents in the business setting today, and nothing is more mind-numbing. I'd rather be a landscaper. I hate manual labor, but I'd rather be a manual laborer than an attorney. To what faults do you feel most indulgent? Overeating. I love to eat. I love people who love to eat. I hate people that don't want to share desserts; they're no fun at all. Not gluttony, just be on your diet nine days out of ten and on that tenth day, let it loose. People who can't let loose now and then are no fun. But I would say, given my inability to be perfect, I hate people who are perfect. They don't ring true with me. So I'm very open-minded to lots of imperfection, as long as you're a good person and you're not mean.
Ian Michie Harris 14 August 2011 What's your favorite color? Red and blue, not combined… What's your favorite food? I love Italian food, so probably either like spaghetti or -- that is hard. Probably spaghetti. What's your favorite book? I read a lot of books. Like I'll read a lot in one month and then not read. I'll read a lot. Sometimes I'll read for like hours on end, and then sometimes I won't read for another week. I don't know. My favorite book would probably be Where the Red Fern Grows. What is your favorite virtue? Probably being kind. I mean, all the virtues matter but my favorite one is probably being kind. What quality do you most admire in a man? Somebody who's a friend, funny, and not necessarily loyal but they're stalwart, responsible. And reliable. What quality do you most admire in a woman? In a girl, probably being friendly and honest. Who are your favorite characters in history? Probably, I can't believe I forgot his name, Junior something. Yeah, Martin Luther King, Junior. What do you want to do when you grow up? What kind of work would you like to do? Well, I don't want to be famous, that's one thing. I mean, I want to have a good career but I don't want to be famous, because you don't know who's your friend, you don't know who you can trust and who you can't. I don't know, maybe a successful businessman. What profession or job would you not like to do? I used to think that I wanted to be a Marine or a soldier. When I got older I thought, "I don't want to be a soldier, because I don't want to leave my family. To what mistakes or faults are you most forgiving? Things that people are sorry for and are willing to make up for, to prove that they're sorry for it.
